Vegetable coconut curry

Vegetable coconut curry

Ingredients :-

•Cauliflower
•Carrot
•Broccoli
•French Green Beans
•Onions
•1 Tins Coconut Milk
•1 Lemon
•Salt and Pepper

Directions :-

1.Chop the vegetables (Cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, beans,onions) preferably into strips.
2.Add onion, finely chopped, or in strips.Fry onions till it becomes translucent.
3.Saute vegetables until they begin to soften.
4.Add coconut milk, seasoning to taste, salt, pepper and juice of lemons.
5.Serve hot with bread or rice.

Vanilla Sponge Cake

Vanilla Sponge Cake


Ingredients:--

1) 1 cup grounded sugar
2) 300 grams refined flour (maida)
3)2 Eggs
4)1 cup cream
5)2 Teaspoon baking powder
6)5 drops of vanilla essence

Method:--

1) Beat 2 eggs for 1 minute
2) Take a mixing bowl and put sugar, cream,beated eggs and vanilla essence. Mix them together for 2 to 3 minutes using electric or hand mixer
3) Gradually add refined flour and baking powder to above mixing bowl. Keep on beating the mixture till it becomes light. For proper consistency milk can be added. Beat for 3 to 4 minutes.
4) Grease baking tray with oil and pour the mixture in it.
5) Put the tray in Pre heat oven at 200 C/ 400 F for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
Cake can also be baked in Microwave. Set Microwave to medium Power and bake for 8 minutes to 10 minutes. If its not bake then keep it for some more time.
Note:- Pierece knife in baked cake, if it doesnot stick on knife then it is done for serve.
Adjust time according to your particular oven (for fan assisted oven cooking time should be reduced. For best result refer to oven manufacture's handbook)
